USCCA Partnership

The National African American Gun Association is officially partnering with the USCCA as our national training partner. This partnership will allow NAAGA members and chapters nationwide to train and take USCCA’s World Class schedule of firearms courses with a national network of trainers. Courses include Fundamentals of Defensive Shooting, Concealed Carry Class, Home Defensive Tactics, Basic Pistol Fundamentals, and Certified Instructor Certification.

The Certified Instructor Certification has two USCCA Programs of Instruction:

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals (CCHDF) – Certification in CCHDF allows you to also teach:

  • Emergency First Aid Fundamentals
  • Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
  • Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level 1

Additionally, we are offering paid scholarships for a selected few who wish to seek official certification and who will train NAAGA members nationwide. We are seeking those instructors with a proven history of community involvement and high-level firearms expertise. The actual start date will be announced in the next few weeks.

NOTE: We will be announcing an upcoming instructor’s course taking place in Atlanta, Georgia shortly, so be on the lookout for upcoming announcements and training dates.

My wife and I are new to firearms and looking forward to classes that will make us more proficient.

I am very interested in this scholarship for more firearms instructor training. I am currently running my own USCCA Firearms training business–Kloak & Dagger Defensive Firearms Academy, LLC. As a NAAGA member and USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, the purpose for me starting my business was due to the lack firearms training that focused on training African-Americans in particular African-American women. I sincerely hope this doesn’t mean NAAGA is abandoning writing its own training curriculum. USCCA is known for not being supportive of ALL gun rights. They are implicitly against lawful open carry. By that reasoning they do not support what we at NAAGA supports.
