NAAGA has the following annual membership plans:
Individual – $39 per year;
Couple – $59 per year;

The person: (1) gets a Membership Card, which is valid for one year; (2) receives NAAGA’s Monthly Newsletter; (3) receives discounts on certain Firearms products and training and shooting events as they become available in the marketplace; (4) is eligible to participate in local monthly to bi-monthly meetings where members are educated on a variety of topics such as state and federal legislation affecting their Second Amendment gun rights, gun ownership, gun safety, situational awareness, concealed carry permits, and self-defense; and (5) is eligible to participate in monthly to bimonthly training and other shooting activities in the safe handling and use of firearms, marksmanship, and defensive shooting with various types of firearms. The most important benefit of becoming a member is to meet and network among members of the African-American community to share common issues, ideas, and objectives on self-defense and defense of family.

Anyone who can legally possess a firearm is eligible to join the organization. The organization is open to people of all races, genders, religious backgrounds, sexual orientation, and political views.

No. If you have a felony conviction or if you have a misdemeanor conviction for domestic violence (and the conviction has not been pardoned or expunged and rights to possess a firearm restored), under federal law (and under most, if not all, state laws), you are not legally allowed to possess a firearm and therefore are prohibited from joining the organization.

Yes. NAAGA has over 100 Chapters nationwide. Check Naaga website (www.naaga.co) under the heading “Chapters” to find a chapter in your area.

Yes. NAAGA does host live shooting events. All NAAGA chapters meet at least once a month in their local areas.

The core principles of NAAGA are to have every African American introduced to firearm use for home protection, competitive shooting, and outdoor recreational activities. We are a pro-second amendment rights organization focused on self-preservation of our community through armed protection and community building.

We don’t have Life Time membership at this time.

The person must be at least 18 years old to join NAAGA. Minors who are at least 10 years old can participate in shooting activities but must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

No. It is not mandatory that you own a gun. Just make sure you can rent a gun from the local gun range in your area.

Each Chapter nationwide usually meets at least once a month where members are educated on state and federal legislation affecting their Second Amendment gun rights, gun ownership, gun safety, situational awareness, concealed carry permits, and self-defense. Each chapter also conducts monthly to bimonthly training and/or other shooting activities in the safe handling and use of firearms, marksmanship, and defensive shooting with various types of firearms. (Monthly focus varies with each Chapter.)
