Good organizational oversight builds an environment of trust, transparency and accountability necessary for fostering long-term community trust, financial stability and business integrity for inclusive business practices. The National African American Gun Association is a legally registered 501c4 with the Internal Revenue Service. Since 2015 we have maintained the highest standard within our organization for everything that we do. Financial security, integrity and responsibility of all public money received is always enforced. We want all members and the public to know donations and membership dues are being used in a legal manner that they approve of and continue to support.

Our reputation for Financial Transparency, Compliance, and Community is critical to our success

  • Best Practices are utilized as a financial standard in every aspect of our financial oversight
  • When a new member joins our organization those funds are automatically deposited in the Bank.
  • Any use of funds must be approved by the Board of Directors and closely monitored by our CPA.
  • CPA reviews all transactions and files annual taxes with the IRS to stay compliant as a 501c4.
  • No funds can be taken by any staff member, executive, volunteer, or contractor for personal use.
  • The National African American Gun Assoc has filed taxes annually with the IRS since 2017.
