Want to Test Your Long-Range Sniper Skills?

There are thousands of African American gun owners who prefer and  really enjoy shooting long distance.  I recently found out about a Sports Competition that would be great for folks who like the long-range 500+ yards are more.

If you are into shooting recreational long distance, I would recommend attending the GAP Grind, an annual event. It is the the largest and most sought-after precision rifle match in the world. The best shooters from law enforcement, military, private citizens, 2 -man teams, and gun clubs attend to compete .  They have both a professional category and amateur level.

There is an event  for everyone.

The GAP Grind runs for three days, at the K&M Shooting Complex in Finger, Tennessee. In association with the Precision Rifle Series (PRS), the formats are professional-amateur, individual and team match to promote sportsmanship and welcome new shooters to the competition scene. Competitors ranging from top professionals to those seeking their first taste of the sport are invited to attend. The GAP Grind is a challenging, “high tempo” match with minimal down-time between stages. Over the course of 20+ stages, competitors will fire 200+ shots at a variety of steel, paper, moving, and reactive targets out to 1,200 yards. Targets vary in size/difficulty based on the shooter’s position, distance, and time allotted. Most stages include “stressors” — i.e. time limits or required movement(s).

If any members would like to attend this event or develop a NAAGA Long Distance Shooting Team, please email President@naaga.co.

I love precision and long distance shooting in the military and would be interesting in developing my skills further and joining a team.
