NAAGA Makes History with the Supreme Court

Our NAAGA amicus curiae brief was filed this week in the U.S. Supreme Court case of NYSRA v. Bruen.

Amicus curiae (pronounced: uh-MEE-kuhs KYOOR-ee-I; Latin for, “friend of the court”) is someone who is not a party to a case who assists a court by offering information, expertise, or insight that has a bearing on the issues in the case. The Supreme Court of the United States has special rules for amicus curiae briefs sought to be filed in cases pending before it. Supreme Court Rule 37 states, in part, such a brief should cover “relevant matter” not dealt with by the parties which “may be of considerable help”.

The issue before the U.S. Supreme Court is whether the State’s denial of petitioners’ applications for concealed-carry licenses for self-defense violated the Second Amendment. You can read the brief HERE, and spread the news on your chapter’s social media pages!

In NYS, specifically NYC why is it so difficult for Black business owners, especially young business owners to get a gun permit. Cable journalist Chris Cuomo, a cable news journalist whose work don’t involved handling payments, payroll etc have a gun permit. Why is it easier for any white guy to get a gun permit? We need advocacy badly

Happy that we pulled no punches on the racist history of gun control.

They sure went out of their to draft thousands of laws to make sure we would never be “FREE CITIZENS” in any sense of the words.

Good for us. I know we try to avoid being political, but I don’t see how we can help it. One political party has consistently wanted and tried to disarm the honest people, without regard to the rights of the honest people. God requires me to protect my family, and grants me the right to possess the means to do that.
Want to reduce the murders in Chicago or Baltimore? Require the drug dealers to turn in their guns. The hardworking citizen is not on the street at 2:00 am looking for drugs. He is home hoping he doesn’t need to protect his family from somebody not legally permitted to possess a gun anyway. Does anybody think that a drug dealer will obey a gun law? Of course not.
Gun laws are not about crime. They are about control of the population by the elites.
