Ranges Safety Officer Course

The Range Safety Officer course is for those individuals that want to manage, and oversee a Shooting Range for Pistol, Shotgun, or Rifles. Upon completion of this course you will be able to conduct the basic duties of a Range Safety Officer (RSO). A qualified RSO ensures that individuals who come to the range to shoot will follow the rules and regulations. By mandating the following of these rules by everyone the RSO ensures a safe climate and eliminates accidental shooting or injuries. To do this RSO”s often must take immediate action when a person fails to follow the rules and is a potential risk for all other shooters. The RSO is the “Law” at the shooting range and everyone must obey on the firing line to ensure safety. In this course you will develop the ability to organize, and manage shooting activities at a Range. This course is very comprehensive and individuals with solid understanding of Firearms and solid “people skills are encouraged to sign up. This is the most important job at the range.
