HOW TO APPLY
National Shooting Sports League Area Director:
Principle Responsibilities
- Manages a specific area (respective to your community) within the United States.
- Enforces all rules and regulations of the Shooting League.
- Maintains clean, safety-conscious, compliant, and effective programs.
- Adheres to all regional, state, and local laws as required for gun safety standards.
- Ensures control and integrity of the shooting sports program.
- Maintains current and accurate program records, rankings, match results, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Keeps all required logs up to date online (Google Drive).
QUALIFICATIONS:
✔ Be at least 21 years of age.
✔ Be a registered active member of the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA).
✔ NAAGA Certified Instructor preferred.
(If not certified, a 12-month grace period is provided to attain certification.)
✔ Be a Range Safety Officer (minimum certification required).
✔ Certified in American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED or an equivalent certification.
✔ Familiar with MS Word, Excel, and/or computer databases.
✔ Competitive shooting experience preferred, including but not limited to:
IDPA, USPSA, PRS, NRL Hunter, GSSF, NSSF, or 3-Gun.
📌 Note: This is a 100% volunteer position within the organization
