Officials Debate Whether Gun Stores Are ‘Essential’ During Coronavirus Outbreak

Advocates for keeping stores open say firearms are critical for families to defend themselves.

“When there’s a national emergency, people are looking for food, water, shelter–that part is import to the survival of our nation,” said Michael Cargill, owner of Central Texas Gun Works in Austin, Texas. “They are also looking for the Second Amendment to protect their families.”
